OUR mission is to create life-changing moments for children who have experienced relational trauma.

WHO WE ARE

Our 5 day camp runs in early June for kids from the Grand Island and York areas in Nebraska.

We’re a diverse group that rallies around our collective desire for every child to experience unconditional love, hope and safety.

Royal Family KIDS Camp fosters resiliency, self-esteem, hope and positive memories. The camp curriculum and activities are woven through the modality of Trust-Based Relational Intervention to ensure our children are experiencing truly life giving activities throughout the 5-day experience.

Isaiah 1:17

IMPACT STORIES​

Harold – Camp Grandpa

Most of our campers don’t have a grandpa in their lives. I love stepping in as Camp Grandpa! From high-fives to side hugs, to match car races and heart-to-heart chats, connecting with our kids is the best.

A foster parent​

Our foster daughter came to us when she was just 5 years old, a shy and scared little girl. I was concerned about sending her away for an entire week at such a young age, but I trusted the Lord and the faithful staff at camp. When I picked her up at the end of the week, I was surprised to find a stronger, more independent, and capable child. She immediately asked, “Do you think I can go again next year?!” I was blown away by her confidence and joy!
